The only reasonable explanation for cheating, whether on a diet or in this case on a significant other, is choice. While people seems to have a laundry list of excuses, they are just that, excuses. As the one that has been cheated on, remember it really has nothing to do with you, but what the other person is lacking in themselves. As far as for the cheaters, while it may seem in vogue to do at this point on our cultural times, just because it has become common, doesn’t make it less damaging. If you don’t want to deal withthe fallout of failed monogamy, don’t commit.
